Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Optarise Global collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data. It is written to meet our obligations under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Optarise Global is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, you can contact us at:
- Email: info@optariseglobal.com
- Phone: +44 (0)20 3807 7267
2. What data we collect
We only collect the personal data you choose to give us through our contact and candidate forms. That includes:
- Contact enquiries: name, email address, company name (optional), phone number, job title, ideal start date, and the content of your message.
- Candidate submissions: first and last name, email address, phone number, CV or résumé (if you choose to upload one), and any notes you add about your availability, location, or SAP focus.
We do not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers on this website.
3. Why we use it and our lawful basis
We use your data for one purpose only: to respond to your enquiry or to consider you for current or future SAP roles within our network. Our lawful bases under UK GDPR Article 6 are:
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): responding to business enquiries you send us.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): when you submit a CV or candidate profile, we process it on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): where processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (for example, matching you to a live role).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate this website and handle form submissions:
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this website and receives form submissions on our behalf. Netlify is based in the United States and processes data in the US and EU. Transfers outside the UK are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
Where we put forward a candidate for a specific role, we only share the CV and relevant details with the hiring client after speaking with you and confirming you are happy to proceed.
5. How long we keep it
- Contact enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last interaction, then deleted.
- Candidate data is kept for up to 36 months so we can match you to relevant SAP roles, after which we either ask you to confirm you'd like to stay on the network or delete your details.
- You can ask us to delete your data earlier at any time.
6. How we protect it
Personal data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored within our service providers' secure environments. Access is limited to the small team that needs it to reply to you or manage our candidate network.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete your data ("right to erasure");
- restrict or object to how we use your data;
- withdraw consent at any time (where consent is our lawful basis);
- request portability of the data you gave us.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@optariseglobal.com. We'll respond within one month.
8. Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your data, please let us know first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office:
- Website: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint
- Helpline: 0303 123 1113
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Minor editorial changes may be made without notice.
